CONSTITUTION:So far as a stepping motor 10 is concerned, according to the control of a controller 11, current is detected by a current detection circuit 12, and at the same time, the motor 10 is constant-current-driven by a motor drive circuit 13. The motor current is detected by a rise time detection circuit 15, and according to the scale of the current, by a voltage controlling circuit 16, voltage applied to the motor drive circuit 13 is controlled. At the time of a lower speed, minimum voltage for obtaining necessary torque is contrived to be applied to, and energy loss at the time of the lower speed is suppressed, and oscillation and heat generation due to necessary or more torque are suppressed. At the time of a higher speed, application voltage to the motor drive circuit 13 is heightened, and necessary torque is secured.
