PURPOSE: To make it possible to directly read out a temperature change on a line connecting two optional positions on a target to be measured by displaying picture data through a display means and specifying plural positions by a position specifying means. CONSTITUTION: When a change-over switch 8 is connected to the side of a synthetic circuit 7, a temperature distribution image and horizontal and vertical. cursors are superposed and displayed on a display device 9. When the temperature distribution image is rewritten in each pixel scanning by a camera part 1, a writing circuit 15 successively writes time series temperature distribution image data equivalent to one picture at a specified time interval. After writing the time series temperature distribution image data in the memory part 14, processing for graph display is executed. When plural positions are specified by the position specifying means, temperature data on a line connecting both the positions are also read out and a graph is plotted in a graph display memory 20. The graph is outputted to the device 9 through a reading circuit 21 and the switch 8.
