摘要

PURPOSE:To remove mimosine and its decomposition product harmful to domestic animals from ipil-ipil, without losing nutrient sources valuable as a feed for domestic animals, by immersing leaf and stalk of ipil-ipil in water or other solvent. CONSTITUTION:Leaf or stalk of ipil-ipil is immersed in water or an aqueous solution of salts or acids, e.g. an aqueous solution of CH3COONa having a concentration of 0.05N or a mixture of water and 60% sea water.
