PURPOSE:To obtain a prophylactic and remedy for fish vibriosis with activity of controlling vibriosis without anxiety of resistant microorganisms and side- effects, by using herbs such as OUREN, OUGON, GENNOSHOUKO, etc. CONSTITUTION:The subject medicine contains herbs selected from the group consisting of OUREN (Coptidis rhizoma), OUGON (Scutellariae radix), GENNOSHOUKO (Geranii herba), KOUBOKU (Magnoliae cortex), TANJIN (Salviae miltiorrhizae radix), CHOUJI (Caryophylli flos), UBAI (Mume fractus), ENMEISOU (Isodonis herba) and GOBAISHI (Galla rhoise). The medicine is used in the form of the bulk, essence or solution, dispersion half-solid, or dust preparations. The essence is obtained by extracting these herbs with water, organic solvents or their mixtures, and the product is diluted or concentrated for application. The dose is 0.001mg-100g/kg body weight/day calculated as the bulk.
