摘要

PURPOSE:To analyze directly, simply, and rapidly without collecting a sample piece by heating and evaporating a sample which is carried to a long distance with an inert gas, and subjecting the sample to plasma emmision spectrochemical analysis. CONSTITUTION:Sparks are discharged between the surface of a sample 1 and a counter electrode 4 by impressing high voltage to heat locally the sample surface to a high temp., and fine particles representing the composition of the sample are generated in the form of smoke. The formed fine particles are discharged into a fine particle discharge port 8 by a gaseous Ar which is sent into a small space chamber 3 from a supply port 7, and sent to a carried gas distributing chamber 11 through a fine particle carrying pipe 9. By changing intermittently the flow rate of the blown-in gaseous Ar to support shocks of pulsation, the fine particles deposited in the carrying pipe 9 are removed. The sent-in fine particles are dispersed at first and further uniformed in the small space part of the carried gas chamber 11, and the particles which are made coarse in the course of coagulation are discharged to the outside of the system. And the optimum flow rate of the carried gas is introduced into a plasma torch 15 by discharging a fixed part of the carried gas to the outside of the system.
