PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment of delivering load, by conveying two bag blank strips side by side, and arranging a brake rotating roller in the conveying paths for said strips that can be rotated in a direction to brake said strips, in an apparatus for conveying intermittently the bag blank strips and forming them into bags. CONSTITUTION:The bag blank strips A, B that are rolled and supported respectively by blank supporting apparatuses 24a, 24b are payed out and led through feed rollers 25, and a guide roller 26 and then between a pair of guide rollers 20, and then after the strip A is led on the brake rotating roller 17 and the strip B is led beneath it, both the strips A, B are led between a pair of guide rollers 21. Thereafter the strips A, B are sent into the bag making machine 10 where the strips A, B are worked by a fusion severing and welding apparatus 13 into individual bags. In this case, for example, if the strip A is inclined to be moved faster than the strip B, the brake rotating roller 17 is rotated slowly by a motor 19 in a direction opposite to the traveling direction of the strip A and is kept at that rotating speed.
