CERAMIC-DECORATING TONER, PRODUCTION OF TRANSFER PAPER FOR CERAMICS BY USING OF SAID TONER AND PATTERN PRINTING METHOD FOR CERAMICS BY USING OF SAID TONER

PURPOSE:To enable patterns such as characters and figures to be printed directly on a ceramic, by binding a pigment for ceramics which is capable of forming a color when being fired and a flux by a heat-binding resin. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic-decorating toner comprises a pigment for ceramics, which is capable of forming a color when being heated, and a flux bound by a heat-binding resin. To produce a transfer paper for ceramics, a photosensitive body is exposed to light to form an electrostatic latent image, the ceramic-decorating toner is adhered to the image by electrostatic attractive forces to develop a powder image, which is transferred onto a water-soluble paste layer provided on a water-absorptive base paper, and is bound by heating, followed by providing a water-insoluble resin film thereon. Alternatively, the powder image formed as above is transferred onto a water- insoluble resin film provided on a water-soluble paste layer provided on a water- absorptive base paper, and is bound by heating. To print a pattern on a ceramic, a photosensitive body is exposed to light to form an electrostatic latent image, the ceramic-decorating toner is adhered to the image by electrostatic attractive forces to develop a powder image, which is transferred onto the surface of the ceramic, and is bound by heating.
