PURPOSE:To obtain a copying camera capable of varying magnification even if a set area is made small by constituting an original holder so that it can horizontally travel along a traveling path formed below a cylindrical drum and arranging a projection optical system above the traveling path and in the outer peripheral space of the cylindrical drum. CONSTITUTION:The titled camera provides with the original holder 1 which holds an original 3 in a plane form and can horizontally travel along the traveling path 6, the cylindrical drum 8 for holding a sensitive material which is pivotally supported above the traveling path 6 and can rotate synchronously with the traveling of the original holder 1 and a variable magnification projection optical system 10 which is arranged above the traveling path 6 and in the outer peripheral space of the cylindrical drum 8 and can vary the magnification. Moreover, it equips with a sensitive material conveying device 20 which can supply and eject a sensitive material 21 to the cylindrical drum 8 for holding the sensitive material and the slit-shaped image of the original 3 is projected to the sensitive material on the drum 8 by driving the original holder 1 synchronously with the cylindrical drum 8 for holding the sensitive material through the variable magnification projection optical system 10. Thus, the copying camera whose set area is small and which can vary the magnification can be obtained.
