MAN-MACHINE INTERFACE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT BACK-UP SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To ensure a highly convenient handling environment and a highly integrated interface by controlling a window control function and a text editing function based on a scenario written in a command procedure language. CONSTITUTION:The command procedures includes a control procedure con taining the synchronous and asynchronous executions of a software development back-up tool 14, the control procedure of a conversational editor, the application procedure for system users and a data input device, the window control proce dure for a data display device 2, etc. A basic instruction of the conversational editor and an composite editing package 134 defined by a system user based on said basic instruction. Thus the control of the conversational editor itself is possible with the command procedure (scenario) 11 which is carried out in an interpreter form, together with the package control of the conversational editor instruction, and the synchronous/asynchronous execution control of the tool 14. Thus it is possible to integrate the data input interface and to reduce the working load of a software developer.
