PURPOSE:To develop the titled Al alloy maintaining excellent corrosion resistance and cutting surface characteristics by incorporating, as essential components, Mg, Si and Cu into Al, compositely adding Sn and Pb thereto and incorporating Zn into said Al. CONSTITUTION:As the essential components, by weight, 0.5-1.5% Mg 0.4-0.8% Si and 0.1-0.4% Cu re incorporated into Al, 0.5-1.8% Sn and 0.4-0.9% Pb are compositely added thereto and 0.1-1.0% Zn is incorporated into said Al, by which the free-cutting Al alloy material having excellent cutting surface characteristics such as cutting finished surface accuracy, gloss, etc., and having excellent corrosion resistance is produced.
