TANK FULLNESS STATE DISCRIMINATION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To automatically discriminate a tank fullness state by providing a means which detects a fuel filler hole being open and decides the tank fullness state when the detected amount of fuel exceeds a specific value. CONSTITUTION:When the filler lid opener in a car room is operated to open the filler lid of the filler hole of a fuel tank, a signal indicating the filler lid opener is operated is inputted to a decision circuit 6. Then the rest of fuel is read by a fuel level meter 2 at a specific period and compared by a comparing circuit 5 with a tank fuel fullness quantity stored in the internal memory of the decision circuit 6; when the rest of the fuel nearly reaches the tank fuel fullness quantity, the result is counted by the internal counter of the decision circuit 6 and when it is confirmed that the counted value exceeds a specific value, the discriminating circuit 6 discriminates that the fuel tank is filled with fuel.
