PURPOSE: To increase the number of parked cars by composing the uppermost stage pallets to be movable in vertical directions, the lowest stage pallets to be movable in lateral directions, and the other stage pallets to be freely movable vertically and laterally. CONSTITUTION: Parking floor layers each having plural parking spaces are composed in mutliple stages, and the number of pallets P disposed in each stage is set to be less than the number of the parking spaces S by one except for the uppermost stage. The uppermost stage pallets 4P are composed to be freely capable of elevation in vertical directions, and the lowest stage pallets 1P are composed to be freely movable in lateral directions. Middle stage pallets 2P, 3P other than those are composed to be freely movable in vertical directions and lateral directions. The pallets P can thus be moved vertically and laterally by using empty spaces to let automobiles in and out.
