Defective warp thread freeing method - passes finger along it after releasing bonding with weft threads

The method frees a defective warp thread in a loom, by releasing the bonding between it and the weft threads. A finger or small wheel is then moved along and near the warp thread, so as to distort the textile material locally in a direction at right angles to its surface. This moves the defective thread clear of the weaving line.
