The binder (1) is for paper sheets (10) and similar items, having a back (2) coated on the inside with heat-activated glue (3) to secure the sheets. Adhesive (5) is provided on the outside (6) of the back also. The back at least can be of plastics, becoming supple under the effect of the heat necessary to melt the glue. Thus the shape and/or the folds formed in it when in this state remain when it cools off again.
