Stove door opening system avoiding fumes - uses supplementary damper at front of double ceiling interlocked with door operation

The combustion chamber (3) has a double ceiling with a chimney (1) situated near to the back wall. An opening into the intermediate ceiling space is located at the front wall end of the ceiling and is covered by a hinged damper (2). The opening of the damper (2) is interlocked with the stove door. When the door is opened, the damper (2) opens also. An in-draught is thus created.
