An apparatus for selectively feeding measured lengths of at least two different weft threads for the weft thread carriers of a multiple shed loom with pneumatic weft thread supply has a rotatably mounted revolving measuring drum (3) to which is assigned, for each weft thread, a pressure roller (11) which is adjustable between an inactive rest position and an operating position. In the operating position, the respective pressure roller presses against the circumferential surface of the measuring drum, and the associated weft thread (18) is conveyed. The pressure rollers have all been pretensioned individually in the direction of their operating position by one pretensioning force at a time, and are arrestable by actuators (28, 22) in their rest position from which they are releasable by selective actuation of the actuators. Moreover, the pressure rollers (11) are associated with a return device (30) which is controlled as a function of the movement of the weft thread carriers and which returns the pressure rollers into the rest position by ending the weft thread feed.
