A tumor-associated antigen that is a cell-surface glycoprotein having a molecular weight in the range of 110,000-140,000 daltons that is present in a variety of carcinomas, including squamous cell carcinomas and adenocarcinomas. Antibodies reactive with the antigen, hybridoma cell lines that produce the antibodies of the invention, and methods for using the antibodies in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
