Element for the skeleton structure of a sauna bench with which it is possible to fold the seat and foot surfaces of the sauna bench up into a small area on the sauna wall. The skeleton element, which is shown in Figure 1 in a side view, has suitable profile members 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 which are joined together via hinges 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and with a control arrangement 6 in such a way that the support profile 8 of the seat surface 15 is articulated at one end on the upper part of an assembly part 7 which can be secured on the wall, in such a way that the seat surface, when it is turned with its support profiles 15 towards the wall about the hinge 1, is inclined slightly towards the wall. In the lower part of the seat surface's vertical support 9 there is a shoulder for locking and at the end a pin which, when the seat surface is in the horizontal plane and the pin in the hole of the support profile 10 of the foot surface, prevents the lower part of the vertical support from moving in the lateral direction and at the same time locks the top of the leg support 11 and the guide 6 against a stopper 14. The leg 12 of the foot surface 16 articulated at its upper end on one end of the support profile 10 of the foot surface can turn about its hinge 4 towards the support profile of the foot surface. The other end of the support profile of the foot surface is articulated on the lower part of the assembly part 7 which can be secured to the wall in such a way that the hinge 3 makes it possible for the foot surface to turn with its support profile 10 alongside the seat surface sloping against the wall. A possible support 17 for the rail is secured on the leg 12 and is turned with the leg. IMAGE
