Recombinant eukaryotic cells producing interleukin-2 which contain, with the means needed for their expression, a DNA sequence coding for dihydrofolate reductase and a DNA sequence coding for a hybrid precursor of interleukin-2 in which the peptide signal is that of one of the natural precursors of the human growth hormone.
