An aq. mineral suspension to combat and prevent poisoning caused by effects of paraquat organophosphoric-esters, formaldehyde, sodium-hypochlorite and copper sulphate ingestion, contains surface active clay, silica treated according to this invention and natural zeolites. - People in danger of being poisoned or already poisoned are administered at least 200 mls of aq. suspension contg. at least 20% solids. The particle size of the solids is less than 100 microns. The suspension is applied as a drink or administered in another way. suspension which can be made with milk, tea, or fruit juices, are capable of dealing with functional disturbances in the alimentary tract caused by liberation of gas and organic toxins, and the prevention and cure of some rare trace element deficiencies. These prepn.s are most efficient in combatting poisoning than hitherto known ones and, if applied in reasonable time, are suitable against paraquat and organic phosphoric esters, which could not be treated to this day.
