FUNGICIDES AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF THE APPLICABLE AS ACTIVE SUBSTANCE DERIVATIVES OF PIRIDIL OR PIRAZILIN

Pyridyl and pyrazinyl compounds having the general formula I IMAGE in which the symbols are essentially as follows: X = N or CH, R = H, alkyl, haloalkyl, cycloalkyl or optionally substituted phenyl, IMAGE R1 = H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, substituted phenyl, or -C-R7, R2 and R3 = H, alkyl or optionally substituted phenyl, R4 = alkyl, R5 = H or optionally substituted alkyl, R6 = H, alkyl, R7 = alkyl, phenyl, both of which can be substituted, alkenyl, alkynyl, hydroxyl, mercapto or cycloalkyl, A and B = O, NH, S or N-alkyl, r = 1, 2 or 3 and Ar = naphthyl or optionally substituted furyl, thienyl, pyridyl or phenyl and their isomer mixtures as well as their N-oxides, acid addition salts and quaternisation products, have advantageous fungicidal properties. There is further described a process for the preparation of the above mentioned compounds.
