Moving boxes with soil and plant cuttings, e.g., in a commercial greenhouse, includes transporter rails positioned along columns. Plant boxes are moved on a belt (20) from where they are pushed onto a main carriage (25) which moves on tails (27). Small carriages (28) pick up a given number of boxes, i.e., as many as are positioned on the main wagon, and transports the boxes over the rails (30) along columns (31) to the required destination point.
