The device is for pressing a bowl shaped ceramic object and has a base structure with a flap-open stamp which is assembled from two parts movably mounted on the base. There is a rotatable inner stamp movably coupled to the base and to be positioned inside the flap open stamp. The base structure is provided with two separately positioned formation blocks on it. The device is also provided with a track guide and conveyor mechanism of rods and support body cooperating with and attached to the associated block, for each half. The guide and conveyor obtain an opening and closing movement in a straight path.
