An adhesive acrylic formulation comprises a monomeric acrylic phase and, in intimate mixture with the latter, a system which produces free radicals, an additive which improves the impact strength of the hardened adhesive formulation, an epoxide resin and possibly other additives. Said additive consists of a cross-linked polyurethane network formed in situ in the monomeric phase from a polyurethane precursor system dissolved in said phase. The adhesive formulation also contains a latent hardener for the epoxide resin, the percentages by weight x of the monomeric phase, y of the polyurethane precursor system and z of the epoxide resin being such that 15 /= x /= 94,9, 0,1 /= y /= 60 and 5 /= z /= 90 and x+y+z=100 %. This adhesive formulation, which after hardening has improved thermal properties, impact strength and shear strength, can be used for example to bond structures.
