Bonding together of two substrates, each of polycarbonate or polymethyl methacrylate, and where at least one of the substrates is transparent to visible light, is carried out using a visible light-curable adhesive compsn. consisting of (a) at least one polyfunctional acrylic monomer; (b) an elastomer or a polyfunctional aliphatic urethane acrylate; and (c) a visible light-activatable catalyst or photoinitiator system. The compsn. (a)-(c) is also claimed as a novel compsn., esp. where the specified material for (a) and (b) form at least 90 wt.% of the total wt. of monomers and polymers in the compsn.
