Anchor with hinging flukes - has pair of points on each fluke acting as front stabilisers

Anchor has a pair of flukes hinging onto a central shank, and head plates above and below the flukes limiting the fluke angle in either direction in relation to the shank. Each fluke (2) has front stabilisers in the form of a pair of points. These can be bent outwards vertical flange plates with upright ends being fitted to them. The hinge housing and the rearmost stabilisers (7) can diverge towards the rear when seen in plan view, and a front cutter can be provided for easy penetration by the shank (4).
