A textile fabric conditioner composition comprises a fatty alkyl quaternary ammonium compound and an ingredient for imparting fragrance to the treated fabric. The fragrance imparting ingredient consists of one or more silicon compounds having at least one silicon- bonded -OR group in which R represents the residue remaining after removal of the hydroxyl group from an alcohol selected from cyclic and acyclic monoterpene alcohols, essential aryl-substituted aliphatic alcohols and essential aliphatic-substituted phenols.
