A device for the rapid heating of drinks, in particular milk, is described, in which the drink to be heated is sucked up by means of a solenoid piston pump (1) out of a storage container (4) via a suction pipe (3) and a suction line (2) and is conveyed through a steam/liquid mixer (7), in which it is mixed with steam which is sprayed in from a steam boiler (8) via a steam valve (11) and a steam line (10) by means of a steam inlet nozzle. The steam/liquid mixer (7) is equipped at its outlet end and at its inlet end with a throttling point in each case, at least one of which can be adjustable. To flush the device, the suction line (2) on the one hand and the suction stub (701) of the pump (1) on the other hand are connected to a flushing-water line (6) via a common valve (5). IMAGE
