The pelota court has a front wall (2) and two lateral walls (3,4) which are at an obtuse angle to it. The walls are joined to a roof (5) which is also at an obtuse angle to the front wall. In the front wall there is a hole (6) whose diameter is large enough to allow a ball to pass through it. A tube (7) joins this hole to a hole (8) which returns the ball to the playing surface (1). An electrical contact inside the tube activates a luminous or acoustic signal and indicates the number of points scored.
