CONNECTING ELEMENT FOR THE ERECTION OF WALLS MADE OF CONSTRUCTION BLOCKS

ABSTRACTThe connecting element is sought for connecting con-struction blocks for the erection of a wall and which com-prise, depending upon its seize, one or as most usual two,straight apertures. The connecting element consists of aninner portion with its ends extending into one aperture ofthe bottom block and into the aligned aperture of the upperblock, and of a supporting ring with a greater diameter asthe diameter of the apertures and connected to the innerportion. The supporting ring serves as spacer and supportfor the overlaying block.In one embodiment, the inner portion consists of ra-dially extending pane-like, T-shaped fins connected to thesupporting ring, and the whole connecting element is madeof PVC, in one piece, and in the same color as the blocks.This connecting element can be made in series and isthus non-expensive and replaces the complicated and expen-sive mold for forming the construction blocks with pins andcollar on one side thereof and apertures on the other sidethereof, all made in concrete and in one piece, and furtherallows a steady and stable construction.
