ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREA pyrodetector having a concave mirror containing a sensorelement arranged in a focus thereof. The sensor element is on afilm and is distinguished by a compact structure. The concavemirror is formed of a body having a rectangular cross-section, ofa reflector part, and of sidewalls positioned perpendicularlyrelative to one another. An opening is provided in a reflectorportion through which a retaining part provided with plug pins isinserted. The concave mirror, an evaluation means arrangedoutside of the concave mirror behind the reflector portion, and ahoneycomb lattice and a covering are accommodated as an overallarrangement in a housing.
