CONTAINER AND METHOD FOR LOADING CURRENCY NOTES INTO A CURRENCY CASSETTE

Abstract Of The DisclosureA container for use in loading notes into acurrency cassette in a simple and rapid mannerincludes a base and wall portions upstandingtherefrom. A rectangular removable plate ispositioned over the base. In order to load thecassette, the container is first loaded with a stackof currency notes with corresponding long edges of thenotes resting on the plate and with the end notes inthe stack being respectively in engagement with theend wall portions of the container. The cassette isthen inverted and placed, with its lid open, over thecontainer. The combination of the container and thecassette is inverted, and the plate is pressed down onthe stack of notes through an opening in the base ofthe container while simultaneously, the remainder ofthe container is removed from the cassette, therebyleaving the stack of notes in the correct position inthe cassette.
