The moving-bed filter with intermittent or quasi-continuous flow of the material to be filtered is designed in such a way that its throughput control principle with one control grate (9, 10) each above and below a stationary grating (8) can be used even in cylindrical bulk material containers (3) and corresponding filter beds (100).
