1. A moulding composition, stable to thermo-oxidation and based on high molecular poly(butylene terephthalate), composed of a mixture of A. poly(butylene terephthalate) having a viscosity index J of at least 80 cm**3 /g and B. from 0.5 to less than 5 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the moulding composition, of a methyl methacrylate copolymer which contains from 2 to 10 mole % of a comonomer containing a vinyl group and possessing at least one carboxyl or epoxy group.
