Novel gel-spun, irradiated and drawn ultra high strength high molecular weight and at least partially cross-linked and/or broadened polyethylene filaments, tapes and films, exhibiting substantially lower creep rates than corresponding but non-irradiated articles are decribed, along with a process for making the same.
