the invention relates to a process for the manufacture of collagen structures, particularly of human origin and the corresponding structures of collagen. these structures may be fiber or membrane.in this process, crushed in a saline solution in a sample of animal or human tissue, pre washed and sanitized, to solubilize the collagen content in the sample. we then added to the extract obtained, consisting of collagen fibrils in the minimum quantity and free of precipitate, non fibrillar collagen, a catalyst for the recovery of the collagen fibers.after a stage of maturation, the structures formed are separated from the aqueous medium by centrifugation, washed, freeze-dried, packaged, sterile, sterilized. the structures obtained, the collagen fibers are present in the isolated state, separated from their tissue of origin, in the network (35), ready for use.they have a frequency of transverse striations (37) of 68 nm and 72 nm.
