A method for the expression of recombinant genes under stimulation from an inducively expressed activator protein

A DNA system for the stimulated expression of genes of interest. Said genes are placed under the control of an activator stimulated promoter and the gene coding for this activator is driven by an inducible promoter. The hybrid DNA constructions are incorporated in suitable host cells which, after multiplication and optional gene amplification, are stressed, whereby the activator produced continues to bring about expression of said genes of interest for a long period of time after the inducible promoter has retur­ned to rest.
