The device comprises clamping elements (12, 13) consist of elastic metal strips folded into slots and a wedging member cooperating with these elements consisting of a flat strip (14) having openings (20) having the same spacing as the slots wedging elements (12, 13). The wedge elements (12, 13) have external support surfaces (16) and the inner support surfaces (17) cooperating with the flat strip (4). In the unlocking position of the device, the surfaces (17) coincident with the openings (20). In the locking position, the elements (12, 13) are spaced from each other by the flat strip (14) coming into contact with the bearing surfaces (17). The passage from one position to another is achieved by longitudinal displacement of the flat strip (14). The device can be used in particular as anti-vibration bar in a pressurized water nuclear reactor steam generator.
