Process for preparing furnace blacks with a faint structure and low grit content

A process for the production of furnace carbon blacks with a faint structure produced by the addition of alkali metal salts is described. An intimate mixture of the liquid carbon black oil and of the solution of the structure-reducing additive is produced in one or more static mixers and is fed to the reactor.
