A compact valve positioner, of simple construction, having an integrated spindle nut (8), in which the motor (11) is mounted in a detachable manner together with a self-locking worm-gear transmission (8, 9) on a supporting body (1), from which project the spindle nut, designed as a worm gear, and the worm shaft (9B). The spindle nut (8) is on the one hand connected to the fitting spindle (10) of an actuator (13) and, on the other hand, forms the axially sprung worm gear. IMAGE
