Head measurements are transferred from an exposure device to a digital magnetic tape recorder which can also store personal data of the subject. The stored data are read and interpreted to produce three-dimensional graphic and video images with any necessary correction or restoration. At this stage the scale of enlargement or redn. is chosen before the corrected image is processed e.g. by rotation and the model is fashioned from wood, plastics material or metal by milling or ginding with numerically controlled machine tools. US/ADVANTAGE - Prodn. of dolls, dummies or advertising models with human or animal heads. Mfg. cost of miniaturised or enlarged models, is reduced, and their lifelikeness is less dependent on skill of modeller.
