Process for producing pressable granular material for the manufacture of products of sintered ceramic material, in particular ferrites for inductive components, hot conductors, cold conductors, ceramic resistors, varistors, ceramic capacitors, in which the pulverulent raw material components of the starting oxides are mixed, milled, optionally presintered, again milled, in particular wet milled, and the mixed millbase thus obtained is mixed with binder, in particular polyvinyl alcohol, and granulated. To achieve a granular material having high grain fineness and homogeneity of its components, the mixed and optionally already milled once and presintered raw material components of the starting oxides are milled batchwise.
