Demountable formwork for introducing corrosion-protection material into the interspaces between the ropes of a rope cable of roof or bridge structures in use. The subsequent introduction of a corrosion-preventing material into the interspaces of rope cables necessitates an outer formwork. In a known process, the cable is provided with a sheathing which can be removed again after the introduction and hardening of the corrosion-protection material. This sheathing is complicated and expensive, because, to remove it, it subsequently has to be cut open and, furthermore, can be reused elsewhere as formwork at most under identical conditions, but not in any way desired. The new formwork is to be easily mountable and demountable and is to be capable of versatile and multiple use. The formwork is produced in the form of rigid profiles of sufficient length and of an appropriate cross-sectional shape which are held in the necessary position by means of tenter frames and/or tightening straps and which can be provided with an elastic plastic layer on the side facing the ropes. Use in corrosion-protection measures in rope cables of roof and bridge structures.
