The invention relates to a processing plant to extract the ammonia nitrogen of the faeces/urine mixture. To extract the ammonia nitrogen from the faeces/urine mixture, it is proposed according to the invention that, preferably, lime CaO be added to the floating layer of the liquid manure so as to then feed the evolved ammonia by provision of suction hoses via suction pressure blowers to a water (H2O) container, so as to bind the volatile ammonia in an aqueous solution, preferably to give ammonia water.
