System for producing anthropogenic conditions for simulating rain clouds

A system for generating anthropogenic conditions for simulating rain clouds is described. In a bicameral system, the upper half, which is exposed to the insolation, consists of glass or an appropriate light-transmitting material, and a spraying nozzle system is provided inside this largely closed arrangement. Systems are described which can be used to engineer a shower cloud and which, for the purpose of operating once or twice daily, are designed with respect to container size and shape as a function of the cloud volume and of the exit velocity of the air. The corresponding statement holds for the container surface area as a function of the energy required to evaporate the water and to heat the water and air.
