Rainwater treatment and duct flushing by novel street inlets (syphon gulley)

The rainwater treatment and duct flushing by syphon gulleys is an effective concept for the renovation and new construction of drainage systems. The simple principle of the syphon permits a robust and operationally reliable design of the street inlets with a high degree of retention for dirt and impurities in order to protect the bodies of water. The tests with a prototype have proved the technical feasibility and reliability, even in the presence of a large amount of dirt and impurities.
