For the suppression of interference signals in an antenna system consisting of at least two antenna elements, a control variable is formed in a processor from the signal voltage of one of the antenna elements and the sum of the signal voltages of all antenna elements, by means of which control variable a phase and/or amplitude adjustment device assigned to at least one of the antenna elements is so controlled, that the signal voltage (interference signal) received at that time with the largest amplitude is in opposite phase to the signal voltage of the other antenna elements; in this case a threshold value detector is assigned to at least one of the antenna elements, by means of which detector the processor is additionally controlled so that the sum signal voltage is weighted at that time in it with the value 0, if the instantaneous signal voltage of this antenna element undershoots the predetermined threshold value.
