Process for producing accessible structural steel elements exposed to environmental pollution

The hitherto known accessible structural elements exposed to environmental pollution consist of stainless steel or hot-galvanized steel sheets which are painted or provided with a plastic coating. This surface protection can very easily be damaged and then no longer fulfills its purpose as corrosion protection. An accessible structural element is proposed which is provided with an enamel primer layer, a top enamel layer and an additional non-slip silicate enamel layer, it being possible for the top enamel layer to serve at the same time as a colour carrier. In addition, resistance heating can be fused into the enamel layers.
