Method for two-way interchange of data between a communications switching system and a staff time recording system

A two-way interchange of data and information between the systems is intended to be achieved with which reciprocal interaction is possible and person-related information is transmitted to the terminal. When a terminal of the staff time recording system is operated, data are transmitted to the communications switching system so that specific features can be modified. Furthermore, subscriber-individual information which is created in the communications switching system is transmitted to the staff time recording system so it can be output to a terminal which is connected to it when an input is effected there. Through the interaction between the communications switching system and the staff time recording system, features of the communications switching system can be adapted in optimum fashion depending on whether persons are present or absent. Person-related information can then be forwarded in designated fashion to the correct address when the person concerned operates a terminal of the staff time recording system.
