Arrangement for measuring pulse-shaped high currents

This arrangement relates to instrumentation and is used in the detection of pulse-like high currents in the secondary circuit of resistance or capacitor welding machines, but also at test points at which pulse-like loads must be verified or monitored, for example on busbar systems, transformer stations. The essential features of the solution according to the invention consist in that the constructional winding structure of the induction coil is designed in such a manner that the return conductor is arranged precisely in the centre of the axis of the part-windings. The return conductor, consisting of fully cylindrical, electrically conductive, nonmagnetic and insulated material, is used as winding former for the two part-windings. This winding former and the part-windings are interconnected in such a manner that the induction signal of the pulse-like high current can be picked up at a two-wire line brought out.
